Thank you for your interest in River Monster Guide Service. My name is Tommy Cundiff and I have been infecting others with the fishing bug my entire life. I don’t have many friends that can’t fish. I have been an avid fisherman since my childhood. My mother would walk me to a lake near our home to catch bluegills and bass and my dad would take me along on trout fishing trips and to every lake within 3 states chasing bass and stripers. When I was around 12 years old my fishing destinations and target species – the smallmouth bass, bronzeback, smallie – was forever solidified when my uncle took me to the New River to throw topwater baits to perpetually hungry bass on a mid-summer day. Simply stated, I love to fish the rivers that I have been so fortunate to grow up around. I love to be on the river wading, canoeing, kayaking, and rafting. Introducing people to the sport of fishing is such a gratifying experience for me. Fishing is challenging yet rewarding, stimulating and therapeutic. In starting this business in 2013, a lifelong dream of mine is being fulfilled every day. Along with help and support from my amazing son and future fisherman extraordinaire River, my parents Harry and are Judy we are committed to providing a quality service for our customers. We will do everything we can to give you an opportunity to catch good numbers of fish, and hopefully you will catch that “fish-of-a-lifetime”. We feel confident that you will leave us pleased with your experience. You will learn new techniques for catching smallmouth bass in a river system, be exposed to some breathtaking scenery and wildlife, and form a friendship that we hope will last for many years to come.
